Put a new ABS control module on the truck. Took it to the dealership to have them "connect" it to the truck. Now I noticed my speed is way off. The faster I go the more it is off, at 60 mph on the gauge my real speed is 72 mph.

Black Smoke, No power, Not Turbo
Hey everyone. I'm new here and hoping you can help. Just had new turbo put on truck. Original went bad. I put a reman one on and that didn't help. Took it to my diesel shop, they said reman actuator was stuck so I had them take it off and install brand new turbo. Ran good for a day. It's back to lots of black Smoke and no power intermittently. Will do it 2-3 times a day. Acts like it's loading up and once it burns out it runs again. Takes a minute or two. Truck is stock 2010, no deletes. Apparently DPF is broke though. Was regening a lot before all the turbo swaps. It also makes a pretty good ratteling noise before it does it. Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help!

2017 6.7 cummins DPF question
Im seeing a P24C9 and a P24B5. It says particulate temp sensor range high. (im working from memory here so could be off a little) My question is does anyone have a component dig. or can someone tell me exactly where that sensor is located? any other help would be appreciated.

transfer case
First off its on a 98.5 24 valve 1 ton 4x4, 5 speed manual. The other day out of no where i was driving down the road and all of a sudden i heard grinding seems like the transfer case is wanting to engage or is something not really sure, i have to put it in 4x4 and back into 2wd to be able to put in gear otherwise it grind when u want to put the truck in gear. Have any 0f you guys had this issue? Im in okc working and noone has time to work on it

Anyone ran without afc?
Recently picked up a p pump for my drag truck build. I found out the afc has been completely gutted and is pretty much useless. So I’m just gonna put a block off plate for the time being. Just wondering how bad it will be without it. Truck is strictly a drag truck, has full cuts 5x22s s475 or s480 with some nos. Just wondering if I can get by for now like this or if it will be impossible to run decent, thanks!

wire harness
looking for some help. i have a 1998 24 valve and changed out the dash the one that i purchased still had that section of the wiring harness still attached all the main plugs seamed to fit correctly but after the install i am having some issues with how the transmission and the truck it self is acting. Is there difference between the harnesses even though they will plug in. i am not sure what year truck the dash came from 12 valve or 24 stick or auto or 98 or 98.5

I have an edge tuner on a 08 dodge, I’ve had it for one year. My egt’s read up as high as 1400 degrees. Is this normal? Should I be concerned, if so what should I look at first?

Time for new tires need opinions
So I currently have 35x12.50x20 toyo MT but I was only able to get about 30k off these even though I religiously rotated these tires every 5k miles. I’m thinking this has to do with all of the highway driving I do? I have seen guys here get 50k,60k out of their Toyo MTs but I wasn’t that lucky. Would I be better off going with an AT tire since I 99% of the time do highway driving? These tires are expensive for these trucks and the least I want to be doing is spending 1.6k on tires every 30k miles. I’m also pretty tired of staring at the TPMS sensor light on my dash for the last 2 years, what would you guys recommend? Thanks.

Power Steering Whine
I was on a road trip. My power steering sprung a leak. It was leaking from a hose and the front of the pump. I kept it topped off and it never ran too low, however it did start whining. I replaced the hose and pump with a brand new A1 Cardone brand new updated style pump with the bolts not the snap ring. It still whines and is very weak. I did the whole bleed procedure, including a vacuum bleed, and flushed it all out with atf4. All air appears gone as there are no bubbles and no fluid fluctuation. Do you guys think the pump is bad or did I kill something else? The box feels very smooth with wheels off ground and there is no play in the steering. The hydroboost works great also but will cause the whine when pressed hard. There are no air leaks or fluid leaks that I can tell. I just want to be sure before getting a new pump.

EGT pyrometer?
At what point in a 12 valve build does an exhaust temp gauge become necessary? Right now I only have a #10 modified fuel plate but I am looking to upgrade the delivery valves and the governor springs to 3k... should I pop for the pyrometer first?

03 engine in 06 truck
So I just bought a new to me 06 3500 srw mega cab that was supposed to have an 05 engine swapped in it after the original gave up. I bought the truck with the engine install only just started and am in the process of putting everything else back together. After digging a little deeper it turns out the engine in the truck is an 03, not an 05.
This all being said, what am I going to need to make the 03 engine work in the 06 truck? Im using the computer and engine harness from the the 06 with the help of an injector harness adapter (adapts from the 2 plug harness to the 3 plug valve cover). Ive read that the pistons and injectors are different, along with the fact that the 06 uses a 3rd injection event. Does the 06 computer have to be tuned to remove the 3rd injection? Does the timing need adjusted? Or will it just plug and play? Can any tuning that needs to be done be done with efilive? I was planning on getting it for the 06 anyway. Thanks

Transfer case output shaft seal?
Truck is a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 47RE AUTO.
I have a leaky seal between the driveshaft and transfer case/transmission. I can NOT find the correct part number or part to order. Does anyone know what seal is correct for my truck. Thank for you help !

Tuning concern
I just installed an EFI live by anarchy diesel on my 2016 Ram 2500. I deleted and unplugged everything that needs unplugged I believe. I fired the truck up for the first and it sounded amazing no check engine light or anything. I revved it up to about 4500 RPM for a second and I threw an overspeed code. I let off and the truck loped for a second or two and went to normal idle. Is this normal or should I not worry about it? I'm new to deleting these Cummins and would hate to tear anything up. Thanks

Brake pedal clicking after rough road travel
I had to use an emergency alternate route today - 15 miles on a horrendous, rutted, rocky dirt road. I hated to do it but there was a 2 hour backup on the highway I had to get around so I went through the mountains instead.
The yellow ABS and red brake light came on towards the end, and stayed on until I got back. I did not notice any issues, but then when I drove the truck a few hours later I noticed the brakes felt funny, and the pedal is clicking, but strangely the lights had gone away.
It's not like that really strong anti-lock sensation, but more of a lighter feel and the clicking sounds almost like plastic for lack of a better description. Has anybody experienced this? I wasn't on the brakes a whole lot during the trip, but I'm thinking the jarring did something.

Oil change schedule 18' 3500
My new RAM only has about 1k miles on it. 18' 3500 short bed, not towing yet, soon a 35' 5th wheel. What mileage amount would you suggest changing the oil for diesel? Also, what do you typically pay to have someone else do it? Thanks for your help.

Low boost
I have a industrial injection phatshaft 62 and I’m only getting 12-13 psi, I checked for boost leaks and don’t have any i did have to take off the wastegate during the install but I put it back on. I was wondering if I have to to adjust the wastegate again or do I have to adjust the boost elbow? And I just put a new steed speed manifold on.

I have to replace my block heater, have the new one it came with a cord to plug in. I am new to this. Does the block heater still get power from the batteries? I have not looked at everything yet, I know where it is and how to replace it. Just a little confused with the cord coming with the new heater. Thank you for your help.
