Have been working on a 95 12 valve for a bit now. Pulled it out and going to be dropping it in a ford soon. I stripped the motor down to the short block just to inspect everything, replace gaskets and what have you. Had the entire fuel system apart, pump, off etc. I installed the pump and dial indicated timing to around 16 degrees. Today I ran fuel lines to a gas can, hooked up battery cables to the starter, hose to the cooling system and got it primed and fired up. Took a looong time to bleed all the lines out but slowly started closing them 1 by 1 and finally got it to fire up. Once I got it started I cracked and bled injection lines 1 at a time at the injectors. It would kind of idle but not too well. You cant get the throttle past about a third of the way before it starts smoking white like crazy and kind of bogs and misses a bit. I do realize there is no piping for the turbo so its getting no forced air but it should still idle decent etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I think I am going to double check the timing to make sure it didnt slip or anything, but I checked it about 4 times to verify before I put the lines on.
