High Beam + Fog light ON mod. Easy/Cheap/Free

I always forget about my fog lights then when I'm almost to my destination I remember them, turn them on, and kick myself until I arrive for not turning them on sooner.:banghead: I finally figured out a way to make the fogs stay on anytime the highs or lows came on, but be able to turn off with everything else, as well as turn off on their own when the vehicle was turned off. Sorry, no $125 "Brite-Box" for me(I don't know how they justify that rip off!)

Take off your fuse/relay box lid and flip it over. See circled numbers below and remove both corresponding relays.

Insert stripped wire into Pin slot #86 on the #62 fog light relay. Insert opposite end of wire into Pin slot #85 on the #73 park light relay. Tuck wire into groove around the edge and voila!!

Two more close ups...

This mod does not hurt your truck, or increase the load on any of the wiring. It is not even running a hot jumper wire. It simply brings a new switched ground to the fog light relay. The fog light relay still supplies 100% of the power to the fogs and functions just like it should without any increased draw on wiring. I have my brights on in the pic below.

Hope this will save some of you from spending your hard earned cash on crap!

BTW, those are not my legs in the last pic. Wife was working the light switch lol!:hehe:
