Carli Control Arm ??? Full Leaf ???

Hey guys,

First off im running a 2012 CC SB 2500 with the 6 speed G56 and 3.42 gears:spank:.........Ive long desired a 3" carli 3.0/3.5 dominator and well right now I have the cash to get most everything besides shocks. Im not going to skimp on my truck at all. +1/2 control arms, track bar, 3" Coils, torsion sway bar and full leaf packs. I plan on running this thing into the ground though and I prefer the looks of a stout 3" setup and 37's! Now i have a couple questions about the different carli parts.

As far as the Chromoly vs. mild steel ive been talked out of the chromoly but i would like to get some opinions. Down the road im talking like quite a while i will turn this thing into a monster. Im talking Trussed axel 3.5" kings up front a king 3.0 bypasses out back. and i plan on beating it to death and it will eventually turn into a toy $250 isnt that much in the grand scheme of things....Should i just pony up the cash for the chromoly. I have NEVER heard of anyone break or bending a carli control arm be it mild or chromoly. Would the $250 be worth it for the piece of mind?

Now for the rear.......im going to run the full leaf packs. I cant decide between the "Standard" (although there is NOTHING standard about them) or the long travel rear full leafs. I am not going to run purpose built race shocks right off the bat either and I hardly ever tow. Anyway could i run the long travel leafs with just regular off the shelf shocks for now without any really hard off roading? Now i can i run the carli air bags with the long travel leafs when i go to tow something? I would only mount the bag brackets and bolt on the bags when i decided i was going to tow something. So the bags would only be attached when actually towing something.

Right now i have enough $$$$ for the chromoly arms and the $1800 long travel rear leafs with chromoly shackles, 3" coils, sway bar, track bar and all that good stuff. Should i do it or stick with mild steel control arms and carlis "standard" full leafs? Thanks!!!
