Okay... Had a very odd run with a Duramax. A buddy of mine brought one of his friends to my place in his truck... Ended talking mess, so we ran. SUPPOSEDLY, his bone stock with 35" trail grapplers and 20" rockstars... Figured it'd be a walk in the park.
We go out to run and he launches on me! I don't end up catching him until around 70mph with a 4wd boosted launch at 12PSI with my Hot tune. According to my Mini Maxx I run a 13.5 (is it accurate based on my mods?) and I doubt those DMAX's run anything near that stock. Weird thing is, the truck sounded stock... I don't know too much about those trucks, but it wasn't loud at all. Did I really get beat in a 0-60 match with a stock truck on heavy wheels or do those trucks have sleeper-ish mods?
