3rd Gen Stock CD player....

Talking about the truck in the sig...I still have the stock stereo/cd player in the truck...

Radio works just fine like it should, but the cd player not so much. If i put in a cd and let it do its thing it'll play from the beginning, but if i try and change thru the tracks it'll go to that track but it will take forever to read it and then it spits it out and says "ERR CD". I try over and over and still does it. Every once and while i'll get it to play.

I've tried to use a lens cleaning cd and it'll read that then when goes to next phase it spits it out with "ERR CD". So anyway i've tried regular cd in it, i've tried a burned cd, i tried a brand new cd and it still throws "ERR CD".

Is it time for new Stereo? Has anyone else had this problem? IS it fixable?
