Installed a KIller B on my 2003 Dodge 3500 Quad Cab Dually. My OE Holset ate itself.
The Killer B installed easily, then came the Jacobs Exhaust brake.
Once installed, the brake actuator is hitting the firewall and a bracket on the firewall, causing noise inside the cab when running.
Called Thoroughbred Diesel about the problem. ( there are no warnings about this in the install manual) Seems they know that the Killer B turbo, once mounted to the OE Exhaust manifold sets closer to the firewall, but did not share that information with me during my purchase. Their recommendation was to do a body lift, which I really do not want to do.
Anyone out there have any other ideas how to eliminate the interference?
I can,t stand the noise in the cab and really want to keep the brake.
