Nerf Bar Fitment Issues

Bought some of those cheap ($200), black, wheel to wheel nerf bars from eBay, put them on the truck, and for the love of god, I cannot get them to follow the cab lines! Has anyone else had fitment issues with these, or am I missing something very basic here?!?! I should've just bought the expensive ones that I really wanted, but couldn't afford :-/
