ok this might be a dump question to some but im not really skilled in differentials. everything should be up to date on my sig. Im planning on converting my open rear to a limited slip rear. I have a dana 70 with 3:55 gears, i dont know what the axle spline is. My question is, am i able to pull my open carrier out put my ring gear straight onto the limited slip carrier and put it straight back in without moving any shims? or am i going to have move shims around or reset the backlash? any help would be great guys, thanks.
