Alright guys. I've been doing a lot of reading and I would like to confirm that I am on the right path. I was gonna try to do twins, but decided that baby steps are the way to go before I go all in with twins.
Here's what I have; 97 5speed with the 215 pump obviously. I pull cars pretty frequently and this summer there is a good chance I will be pulling 5th wheel travel trailers to the lakes around here. I'm looking to get into the 450-500 rwhp, and still be able to tow some. Here's what I was thinking:
D-tech 62mm charger.
5x12's
studs (Do I really need to spend the money on studs right right now?)
3200 gov springs
Do I need to invest in some 60# valve springs at this point? The truck is a DD and I don't hot rod the piss out of it...I've got the banks power pack setup on my truck, it includes the banks compressor housing, I don't know what size it is exactly, or if it will even work well with the charger I'm looking at.
I think what I am looking at will allow me to pull without crazy egts. I'll tune the AFC and slide the plate forward as well as do some grinding on the plate.
