Please someone tell me WFT to do next, I have an 03 LWB 4x4 auto and it has lost it's mind. I went to take my truck to work and noticed that the truck would not shift into od and it had no coverter lock up, also the cruise was out . thinking the trans had dumped on me i took it in to the trans shop . they saud the trans was fine. they said I had high tps voltage and that i need to take the truck to the diesel shop to be checked .the next day the cruise worked and first gear had an issue shifting in right. so off i went to the diesel shop, well they scanned the truck and said there was no signal between the ECM and PCM and they would have to check the wireing. the next day they said it was not the wiring but the ECM itself , after I got off the floor with the $ 2,600 repair estimate I asked how it could have just gone out. they then said they might be able to wire in a work around and to call back the next day. after calling them back they said the work around worked ,,,,,, but now from time to time i would get a dead pedal becuase the TPS is going out? thats where the WFT part comes in . can it be that the ECM and the TPS go out like that ? this truck ran perfect on friday and screwed on monday. please if anyone has any advise i real could use it.
