Hey all, just got my truck, 97 with a rebuilt trans 500 miles, was told it had new clutches solenoids, hd bands, and bullet single disk convertor,..its got a s300 turbo, bigger injectors , 0 plate...
So I took it for a drive and 20 miles in I noticed low atf symptoms , started makin my way back home and it stranded me. Wish I woulda checked it over better I probably. Have put 150 miles on it. I came to a stop sign n went to pull away and was in second when "it went neutral." I shut it down started it n put it in gear went a couple hundred feet and a repeat....I added appropriate fluid and lucas, definately a more positive feel but still goes "neutral" and revs after about 20-30 seconds...turn it off wait the same, start it and its the same repeat...even not moving if you put it in gear n hold the break you still feel it disengauge...I'm so confused. Check valve? Solenoids? Sensors? Air? It shouldn't be hard parts cuz it feels solid until it disengauges ?
