Hello,
I have a '97 12 valve that began leaking diesel about one month ago once the temperature dropped below freezing at night on a consistent basis. It only leaks while running and does not always leak while running. The leak appears to be coming from above the starter as it is dripping onto the starter and bell housing. It does not appear to be leaking from the fuel filter. I am pretty certain that it is leaking from the rubber fuel return line. I believe that it is the original line on the truck. I have searched the forums for a tech article discussing the best way to replace it, but I have not been able to find it. Could anyone point me in the direction of that article(s) or offer some advice.
Thanks
