Dont know much about trannys...I'm wondering how bad it is to tow w overdrive on. I have a built ATS 47re Heavy Duty tranny w deluxe heavy duty rebuild kit k225j, low roller and over drive roller clutches, belleville springs, lock up solenoid, shift kit, and 655A- SLS Steel HD torque convertor (reading parts list from install receipt from before i bought the truck, dont know if this is all normal parts :confused013:).
So I'm towing about 6-7000lbs. My truck has 10k springs and 30k airbags. When I'm driving 55 w/o overdrive i'm at 2000 rpm and the tranny feels and ounds like its working real good. With OD it runs 15-1700rpm and purrs... is it ok to tow in OD with my built tranny?
