I found a 98 Dodge Cummins 5 speed with 340,000 miles, the gentleman who is selling it is the origional owner with all receipts for anything ever done to the truck.
He said it has lived in the garage its whole life and he used it to travel 140 miles to work each day. It leaks a quarter sized drop of oil ever night and it drives straight. Its a 5 sped he's never had to replace the 5th gear nut and he just had the turbo rebuilt last year along with the lift pump 150,000 miles ago. hes replaced the water pump, fan clutch and belt tensioner last year.
Hes always had the oil changed every 3-4 thousand miles with a new fuel filter every oil change. It has the origional injectors and he runs a cetain boost in his fuel also.
he's asking $5500 But I wont pay more than $5,000. Do you guys think this truck will last much longer and its a good buy? What else should I look into as far as things going wrong with this high of miles.
Thanks guy's I appreciate the help:thumbsup:
