I moparmans high idle kit a few months ago and must say its money well spent! Anyway My buddy has the same truck as me and he also did the high idle. Well he noticed that it would kick in when it wasnt that cold out When he had his IAT fooler on while the truck was warming up when he flipped the fooler off it would go into 3cyl high idle(all foolers off). Well last week his ecm took a dump and he figured thats why his high idle was doing that. So sunday I get into my truck flip the IAT fooler on and go inside as it warms up come out 5 min later and get in and turn the IAT off and bam goes into 3cyl. So I start freaking out thinking my ecm is going and what not. I pulled out my scanner and check to make sure my IAT is reading right(which it was 59 with fooler off and I think it was 28 with the fooler on) Kinda freaked out, usually I get in tap the throttle to disable the high idle and then turn off my switch so im not sure if this is normal or not. Hopefully mike chimes in on this.
