Ok so the new truck from the PO told me it was a newer turbo. He also said it had a bigger exh housing. Everything looks almost the same but lil diff with numbering on the case. The hx35 on my old truck had holset on it and then some numbers. This turbo has holset on it but no numbers. Ill take a pic when i get a chance. But before i get pics what should i look for to help identify it. What are the diff with the HX40 and HX35. This turbo seems a bit louder and boosts around 40-42 lbs with rv275s and edge comp on 5 with magnaflow exh.The other turbo made about 30 lbs with a bully dog torque dog, ats 3 pc and straight pipe 4" exh.
