I just installed the Carli backcountry kit on my 2011 crew 2500. Here are my observations thus far....
It was a pain in the arse to do, my back is still sore...... did the front suspension myself at home. I felt that the adjustable track bar was the hardest. The coils and shocks actually went on fairly smoothly.
Now heres my problem, I need some advice...
I took the truck to my uncles shop to have the full leafs put on the back. I was there for the last part of the install, but gave his mechanic the instruction sheet before I left.
When I got back halfway through the install, I realized he had disconnected the brake lines and was bleeding the air out of the system. Now as far as I know, on the install sheet, there was no need to break any of the brake lines.
Anyways my 3 questions to you guys are as follows:
#1 my ABS and brake lights are on. Is it because there is still air in the system or is something messed up?
#2 I had him install the front diff guard, and now my SERV 4WD light is on.
#3 my tires are still rubbing a little bit (35x12.50x18) on 18x9 wheels with 5.75 backspacing. George at 8lug said I could by some control arms that will push the axle forward approx 1/2 inch. I think I am going to do that, but will I need to get the alignment done yet again if I put new control arms on it?
Thanks guys I appreciate any input. Im just kinda miffed that I have a brand new truck with pretty much every light on the dash on........
