So I just had my new, not even one year old, injectors fail on me. Sent them back and the manufacturer told me that some form of contamination ran through them. Pulled my tank and sure enough, my pump screen was clogged with crap. So I am getting those sticks rebuilt, and my tank cleaned, but what worries me is what may be left in the injector pump. Is there any chance that enough crap is sitting in that pump to kill another set of injectors? And if so, how would I go about cleaning that out before I run the truck again?
