I need some help trying to get a job up on the slope or out at one of the mines as a mechanic. I'm sure someone here has to have some info or connections. I've got plenty of mechanical expierence. Did a few years as a wrench in the army. Also have worked as a line tech at Lithia dodge in anchorage for a few years and worked for a while at aurora gmc in Fairbanks as a tech. I'm currently a government contractor in Afghanistan and I hate it!! The job is awesome and demanding and the pay absolutely can't be beat but only being home 20 days a year is killing me. I've been here a couple years and I'm ready to find a job closer to home!!
