I picked up a 95 2500 4wd 8ft bed, ext cab back in Oct 2011.
has over 250k miles on it. Got it cheap!
had a new trans installed right before i got it.

Now the fun stuff.
The reason WHY it was so cheap. He figured he needed a computer. Could not get it to charge and its internally regulated to the comp, OR it could be the crank position sensor. Guess the tech's he was taking it to could not figure it out. I swapped the Alt because it was the wrong pulley and shredded the belt, that screwed up the AC compressor clutch, and repositioned the crank position sensor. It was the crank position sensor. To far away from the crank. I got it running and charging. Changed filters, and started to drive it. Now i get to see how to KEEP it running and how afford to fix EVERY little problem that this truck has, and make it what i need...
Another reason it was so cheap, well, it was a landscapers truck..... :doh: But i got it cheap. :thumbsup:
SINCE i got it, i did, and not in any order,
Radiator, therm, hoses, valve cover gaskets, fuel shut off valve, intake gasket, BD waste gate, Alt, crank position sensor, egt and boost gauges, cust rear bumper, tailgate, power window reg, hanger bearing, grill, headlights, radio, fuel sending unit, moved the fuel plate and adjusted the star key, KDP fix, a few broken and missing nobs, few broken and missint intake bolts, got rid of a few cig burns and stains in the interior! Floor mats and some seat covers, rims/tires, front brakes, trailer brake controller, front shocks, new horn, bed box, TC lock up.... :banghead:
What i HAVe but not installed yet,
Door weatherstripping, cable lock for front axle, newer style front track bar, all new steering, new front control arms, new AC compressor, AC BABY! rear brakes, trans temp gauge.. ummmm.
Future plans,
np 203/205 doubler, (Think the orig case is shot) I have the parts and the project i was going to use them on changed so why not :), new rear bed, (Its swish cheese), front bumper at some point, new driver seat (To much duct tape), arm rest, new turbo, fuel plate, ditch the mech fan for electric, bigger trans cooler, trans shift kit, new throttle cable, onboard air, CB, pair of .50 cal's in the back.. All good.
