I need help deciding on which truck to purchase, either a 4500 or a 5500. With either truck not sure if I want the LWB or SWB, but cab option will foresure be crew cab no doubt about that. But I am undecided about which transmission to get.
The truck will be used to tow a 45ft custom built toy hauler. Dry weight of about 17k. Fully loaded probably 22-26k and that is probably being a little generous.
The plans for the truck will be a full delete. Programmer, mild twins to help with cooling and towing. Mild injectors. This truck will be mainly used to tow. Don't need and outrageous amount of power just enough to make towing a little more easier.
