Ideas for 2005 2500 2wd auto

Hey guys and gals, I have a 2wd 2500 auto all stock with 107k on it, that I want to start modding for some power around 500 ish.. And looks, should I level up the front or lower the rear I don't tow heavy the only thing I tow is my 4 wheeler. Would like to do it on a budget and be reliable as the truck is my dd.
