Drove around all day last Wednesday, pulled into the lot at work to drop off the boss and threw a P2149. Got my buddy's truck and towed the truck home on Friday to take a look, in between I did some research on common fixes for the code.
Dissected all of the wiring from the ECM to the injectors, following a combination of 3 trouble-shooting guides posted on CF. No high resistance, no crossed wires and still code and rear 3 inj shut down in limp mode.
Since I was frustrated and don't have a real scan-tool, just my edge and a Mac mini scanner, I dropped it at the dealer to be properly diagnosed:S:. Pulling it off the trailer it was smoking white constantly, did not do that when I parked it, put it on the trailer or worked on it all weekend.
I have decided if its injectors, I want to upgrade to 90-100HP set:stirpot:. If its something else I dont know what to think...:banghead:
Any thoughts on what I may have missed, or who's injectors are recommended???
